The Isosceles sculptures are an ongoing project started in 2009, these works are all based on the simple form of a Right Isosceles triangle, this is the triangle you get if you cut a square in half diagonally from corner to corner. The sculptures are the result of arranging these triangles into particular sequences, this approach allows me to discover sculptures rather than create them, works evolve as I find variations on a theme. Specific sequences of lines, planes and angles lead me to assign individual character and meaning to these objects, the form and finish is sometimes directed to tease out the character into a personality.
